Iexplorer hangs

I am using windows 2000 professional.
When i click on i-net explorer the system goes hangs for some time. & when i see the task manager its shows not responding status.
But if i let it going to process for some time aroung 2 min, I-net explorer gets running.& again i open a site it hangs.
whats the prob.

Try emptying your browser cache and see if this helps.
You may also want to inspect what additional processes start running when IE opens, you may have either a virus or spyware running.
