I have to click refresh every time or nothing ever updates

This seems to have started since replacing my LAN card (though why that should have an effect I dont know).

'Check for newer versions of stored pages' is set to 'Automatic'. I tried this on 'Always' but that made no difference.

Thanks for the response, but that setting is 'ON' already!

Check this out and see if this don't help. I've had to use a .vbs to get IE to refresh for an application some of my folks use at work. It's not the one on that particular page there, but I think there's probably a few ways of doing it. Worth a shot

Are you using any proxy server or 'accelerated' internet connection?

have you tried setting all the internet explorer settings back to default? also what happens if you use a different web client like firefox?

Cheers all
smah, was on the right track this has turned out to be due to our Proxy cache, turning it off fixed the problem.
