IE7 and Firefox

Hi, my website appears as it should in Firefox, but in IE the name of the domain at the top doesn't appear right and the positioning of the div/table data is off. Can someone have a look and let me know whats going on?

line-height: 46px;
in your #sitename styles

and add this to your doctype

before your closing bracket(the line above starts with a space)

As youngApprentice already mentioned, you need to put a valid and complete doctype to your page. Here's a list to choose from:

http://www.w3.org/QA/2002/04/valid-dtd-list.html.

There is little to no point in going for cross browser compatibility without a proper doctype.

Thanks guys, it appears to have affected it for the better. The menu on the left still seems to be low by a couple of pixels in IE versus Firefox
