I hope someone can help me with this. Everytime I click on a page IE6 places its self again, to explain if you do Alt/Ctrl/Del you see it standing 5 or 6 times. Then internet freezes until I disable a few running iexplore.exe. When I turn the computer off it says internet is still running. Any thoughts over this problem?

In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced
Checkmark 'Reuse windows for launching shortcuts'

Thankyou for your reaction. It seems I'm not precise enough, when internet is closed it's still processing, that is to say the connection is still there which interupts other connections. Only when I press /CTRL/ALT/DEL and manually end the process is internet closed. To be clear if I start internet three times then I have to manually close three times with CTRL/ALT/DEL

Greatly appreciated. You were right I have malware. Very kind of you to take the time, I ran virus scan, no go, Ad-Aware and he found it. However it doesn't seem to help. I've checked your last post placed and will follow the guide line. Thankyou for your time.

Get and run and CWS shredder. Go here and download Firefox. Firefox is another browser. Use Firefox and see if the same problem occurs. If it does not replicate the same problems as IE6, then there may be a corruption in IE6. (malware, spyware, trojan etc) Uninstall IE6 and then using Firefox go to and do a free virus scan. After that if everything comes up "clean" go to and download IE6 from their site.

When running Spyware and Adware removal, the best course of action is to run a few utilities at once.. IE, Run AdAware, then run SpyBot S&D, etc.. Each utility will generally find something that the other ones did not.
