I have a user that has errors with ie. We've tried ie 6 and all updates. Randomly, when he's browsing, the ie window shuts down and sometimes displays the error "iexplore.exe application error". This happens on both Win 2k and XP Pro computers and there isn't anything in the login script except network drive mappings. has anyone else experienced this or know the cause?

Does Event Viewer have anything to say specific to the matter ?

iexplore.exe - Application error: the exception unknown software exception (0xc00000fd) occurred in the application at location 0x77e72e47.

That was it.
