Weird problem.
Inspiron 5150 laptop
Windows XP home edition
Dial-up connection to ISP

At random times, IE6 will begin rapid minimize/maximize looping of browser window, then finally go to a full-screen window, and lock up. The durations of the looping varies from 30 seconds to a minute or so in length. Have to reboot to clear, then its ok for a short time. Doesn't matter where on the internet, or what phone line its connected through, it still happens randomly.
It happens ONLY with the browser, no other applications are affected by it.
Restoring from last good point makes no difference. Have ran Spyware Scanner, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware, and cleaned it up. Ran repair, chkdsk /r and it still happens.
Trying to avoid a clean install if possible, but resigned to it if necessary. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Found out it was a hardware issue. Keyboard was shorting out. Replaced the keyboard, problem went away.
