IE6 Freeze up on win2K

I am running Win2k Pro on my home machine and I am running IE 6 with all of the latest patches installed for it.

I am having problems with IE freezing on a login. when i run IE on my login i get no such problems but this one login just fails (strangely on hotmail most of the time !) i can login into the hotmail account and send an email and get no problems !

has anyone got any ideas about this?

which server pack have you got for internet explorer?

not sure what the actual version is but i have installed the "Cumulative Patch for Internet Explorer" from 28 March so whatever version that takes it to
