Greetings everyone
I have 1 person running IE6.0 (6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2) who receives an 'error on page' msg whenever she tries to access certain websites. When I double click on the 'error on page' warning symbol, I can see the following error:
"problems with this web page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. in the future, you can display this message by double-clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar.
Line: 1859
Char: 2
Error: Ojbect expected
Code: 0
URL:
As a result, this error prevents certain functions/drop-downlists from appearing correctly in the browser. In searching for this type of error online, several sites suggested that this problem is on the website. I do however have several other user switch w/identical hardware/OS an application config that do not receive this error. I have tried logging in w/my profile, and the same error appears when I access the same website.
I have tried removing and reinstalling IE6.0 (see KB318378) as well as XPSP2. I have tried deleting cache/cookies/history and lowering/removing security for scripting/cookies to no avail. I have also run a spyware check on the PC and removed any offending entries. Regardless of what I have done, the error still persists.
Does anybody have any suggestions for what else I can try? Is there something I have overlooked?
