The shortcuts to websites I have on my Winows XP Pro desktop always wipe out whatever I have open and go to the new website of the shortcut... I need it to always open IE shortcuts in a new browser window rather than wiping out the site i am at... this has to be possible but what is the easiest solution... under the shortcut properties i see nothing regarding this, nor do i find anything under IE properties... hope someone knows how to get around this it is very frustrating when i forget and click on a shortcut and it wipes out the site I am on...

Fixed own problem.... went to Internet Options and ADVANCED... then remove the checkmark in the box REUSE WINDOWS for launching shortcuts...

maybe that will help someone else..
