IE refreshing uncontrolably!

IE keeps refreshing constantly when accessing some websites, i have accessed the websites in question on other computers and there is no problem! Any help very much appreciated! (the computer in question is running XP with IE6)
Cant seem to find anything on MS KB

I had the same problem so tried virus's detection pests etc finaly tried windows update and after fully updating crucial and recomended updates problem fixed

so I'd try that if i were you

for future reference it was a problem with a pop up blocker, for some reason the site as a whole was seen as a pop up! problem sorted now!
