IE pop-up blocker not working

Good afternoon. We have one pc in our organization with a persistent pop-up issue. Various "virus" and poker pop-up windows keep appearing (every 2 minutes) even though the pop-up blocker is on with no allowed sites entered in the settings. I've also run an Adaware scan and still they keep popping up. Any ideas what else to try? Thanks.

Even though you stated that you have run ad aware, Id still be inclined to point my finger at something thats being triggered from your registry. Ad-aware is good but its still not able to cover everything. Id give Spy-bot (search and destroy) a try along with maybe registry mechanic. both of which you can download for free at

If these dont solve your problem then maybe its something that a visit to a website or something that is triggering the pop ups. get back to the forum after youve tried scanning the registry.
