Very weird one...latest version of IE, running on Windows Xp is saying the browser is not compatible for viewing Java or Javascript, I've tried searching on the MS website about this but I'm at a loss!

Is this as simple as an update patch or are there serious issues with my IE?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Carr, I'll try this tonight and let you know how I get on.

This hasn't fixed the problem - I can see the java working offline, but when I upload it to the web, its a grey box with a red x in the corner. Any ideas?!

Could you explain this statement a little further? To me, this sounds like you have a web page that contains javascript and this javascript behaves correctly on your computer but not after the page is placed on the web server. If my interpretation is correct, it has nothing to do with IE. Furthermore, if I was to take a SWAG, I'd bet that the javascript contains a graphic image of some sort and the path is wrong relative to your server's document root.

If I interpreted your statement wrong, then nevermind the above rambling.

I see what you mean SMAH - I'll have a look at it tonight and see if I can change the path of the image - you're correct with your interpretation, the javascript works offline, but when I upload to a server it doesn't.
