I have an issue with Google and every search i do. It display sites i have not asked for, then i move to page 2 of my search and then back to page 1 and it then displays what it should

I believe i have been hijacked and have tried the following:-

CWShredder
Xoftsyp
Spyware Guard
Spyware Blaster
Spykiller
Micorsoft Antispyware
AVG Anti-virus
DSO Stop - I was getting a DSO Exploit error, but this has gone now with this

They all show i have something, then remove it etc...

And... I have un-installed IE and re-installed it, and still no joy.

Can someone please help me this is doing my head in now....

still no joy.

Every product does not want to get this annoying error to go away, and when the search only displays one page i can not get the sites that i need....

Check your HOSTS file.
It is located in %windir%\system32\drivers\etc and can be opened with notepad.

Look for any reference to Google.

When you run Google, click on the last link on the bottom of the page. It is a link outside of Google. Download the app and run it to remove the hijack.

AhSports has the answer just need to runa search any search in google and at the bottom you will see the usual links, one of them will say remove adware, Download close IE run and hey presto! Youd the man! This was p%$&ing me off for ages Thanks dude!

Try deleting the content.ie5 folder. Start>Search>(make sure you have hidden files and folders as part of your Files and Folders search.

I have had this work in other machines. If it won't let you do it in normal mode go into safe mode.

This folder will be re-created by ie6 the next time you go into it.
