I recently switched from Verizon DSL to Comcast, and unfortunately installed the software that they gave me. I have managed to uninstall the Comcast Support app but my IE still has the Comcast logo instead of the Explorer logo and it says "Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by Comcast" in the title bar. I know I have seen somewhere how to get rid of these annoyances, but I can't put my hands on the info. I have uninstalled and re-installed IE (Add/Remove Windows Components) but it still has the Comcast info. Please help!

Windows XP Pro
IE 6.0

Thanks, that did it. I seem to remember something about a registry edit, but the VB script is much easier!

You can see the registry keys involved by just right clicking & edit.
