Hi,

I just reloaded MS Win XP with SP2 on one of my machines and ever since I have had a problem with one specific website that IE does not automatically fill in the username/password pair for me just like it used to. IE does prompt me at other sites if I want to save the passowrd. I have "form fill" with all aspects checked off under the options.

Is there any way to force a site to prompt you to automatically fill in the username/password pair?

Some web sites are intentionally designed to not allow passwords to be automatically inserted. Can you post a link?

The website is I had this working previously with the same Win XP SP2 and IE 6.0 where I would click on the username and it would show me the logon id. When I clicked on that it would insert the logon id into the username field and automatically load my password.

Now I have to retype the logon id and password each time and IE never prompts me to save the password as it does with other sites when I visit for the first time.

It looks like the form being used there is not keeping the password, but you might ask them to be sure.
