When trying to view the following site I am unable to see the menu that supposed to be at the far left of the page. Instead, I get what appears to be an image holder (a box with an X). I suspect it is a problem with IE, but how do I fix this? Thanks!

Check your security settings for the INTERNET zone. Do you have JAVA disabled? joegz

My security settings for the Internet zone are set to medium, with JAVA enabled.

It is possible that there is a problem with IE's Java Virtual Machine component and you may want to try to reinstall it or download a more current version.

If you call up a command window and type in JVIEW you will get a reply back with what version you are running.

You can find the latest offering at or go to their download section and look for Virtual Machine joegz

Thank you so much for your help! Although I had the current version of Java on my PC, reinstalling it fixed my problem!
