Hello,
I'm having a bit of trouble with my .pl files in my CGI-bin.
I am running w2k, apache 2, and active state perl 5.
In IE when I try to run the printenv.pl script it asks me to save it to disk, if I change the extension to .cgi or even .txt apache will run it as a perl script like it is suppose to.
This issue doesn't occure in netscape. This is actually the second time I've run into the issue and I had it working but recently had to do a full restore on my computer and lost the working httpd.conf files.
Also since it is seems to only occur on computers with perl installed ( all my computers without perl have no issue ) I suspect this is a mime type issue but I have no idea how to correct such an issue in apache.
Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
