Hi all. I have having a very querky problem with IE 6/SP1 on a Win2k Server with SP3. When I load IE, the browser seems to connect to the web host. But a blank page is displayed while the status bar chuggs along. I have a T1 connection, so it shouldn't be slow.

What is weird is that when I resize the screen, the complete page shows up. If I go to another site, the same thing happens and I must resize the screen in order to view it.

I have updated/repaired/reinstalled IE. I have also downloaded the newest Java from Sun.

Any ideas?

Thx

have you checked the settings under the connection tab in internet options? if not, go there and uncheck "automaticly detect settings" in "lan settings. it sometimes causes this. all other windows after it is loaded opens ok, right?

Yeah, all check boxes are cleared there. All windows exhibit that behavior, i.e. new windows.

Thanks

I also tried reverting to IE 5.5. Still same issue. The screen also redraws if you click on one of the menus.

Some other items of note. My network taskbar icon(s) no longer blink either. So I thought it may be a video card issue so I updated my video card driver and upgraded to the latest DirectX.

Still no luck!
