When I got to print something being view in Internet Explorer 6 I receive the following error message:

"Function address0x300e2a8 caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc00000005)
Some or all property page(s) may not be displayed."

After click ok, another message says I need to install priinters before I can print. There are printers installed and after click ok on that message, the print button is grayed out so I am unable to print.

I decided I would update IE6 to IE6.1 and the problem is still occuring. Also when I go to HELP>ABOUT IE, it shows version 6.0 is still installed.

Any idea's or suggestions?

Try to completely remove IE... might be that upgrading isn't hitting the corrupted file. Jennifer Sigman

You could try installing netscape or opera browsers and repeat the print. If it works then the problem is with IE6. If it doesn't work then the problem is probably either the printer driver or the Windows system itself, in which case try printing the page from another PC.

Also, is it a problem printing any page from IE6 or is it one particular site ?

Will.

i know that this thread is old but I was wondering if anyone found the solution to the same problem.
