IE 6.0 open in new window error 1

IN IE 6.0 when i right-click "open in new window" from the menu, it opens a new window and does not load the page, instead it just sits there, completely blank no page, no url in the title bar. This also happens when the window is opened for me (e.g. popup ad, etc). I have tried reinstalling to IE 5.0, 5.5 and then back to 6.0 but this did not help. Please can someone work out what went wrong!

Oh, another thing - when i press ctrl+f (find on this page) i get the following message:

incompatible version of the rpc stub

Could these be related? (i get a similar error when trying to install giants: citizen kabuto (which uses the installshield intstaller)

This fixed both problems I was having, also. (I could not get child windows to open and the Find function wasn't working.) I was pulling my hair out until I found this solution. Thanks guys!
