I am using IE 6.0 and Windows 2000 Profesional. I have a problem displaying images on web pages, where there should be, for instance, a text box with links, there is just a blank white space, no red X. Any ideas?

Go to Tools, Internet Options, Settings, View Objects. What is the status of your Java? If anything other than "Installed," go here and download/install a good version:

Do I want to download Java VM or J2SE or what version?

J2SE 1.4.1 should suffice. Goes without saying...stay away from the beta.

Downloading the J2SE 1.4.1 worked! Thanks so much.
