Hello......I'm running IE 6.0 with WindowsME. When I'm composing a new message and click my cursor in the middle of the T0: text box, a dropdown list of addressees appears. My question is how do I get rid of this dropdown list? TIA for any help/assistance.

compro44,

Go to View>Layout, put a check in the Contacts box. It now appears in the left portion of the windows. Select any entry or all, right-click and choose delete.

Or go to StartPrograms>Accesspories>Address Book.

Hello again, your advice did not do anything to the dropdown in Hotmail. That is what I want to eliminate.

You never mentioned Hotmail!

Right-click on the taskbar, choose properties, click the Advanced tab and cklick the Clear button.

If that doesn't do it, in Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options, click the Content tab, then the AutoComplete button and then click the Clear Forms and/or Clear Passwords buttons. You may need to restart.
