I have a 3 party IDVR that records the conversation. I would like to setup a new extension and have the IDVR record all inbound calls. I'm not sure if there's any especial programming I need to do on my end. What about in IDVR? Do I have to setup the extension or tn from the IDVR equipment? Or does it automatically records everything?

I'm presuming you're talking about
Telstrat Call Parrot. First, just make
sure the 'phone set is wired to a port
on a TALC card. Using the configuration tool
log into the card and you'll see the options
available for the ports- continuous record,
on-demand record, etc.

Yes, this is for Telstrat. Can I do that remotely? I tried searching the NTP for TALC but didn't find anything. Do you know the part number? Unfortunately, I'm not onsite and I'm not sure what type of card are being used for this type of application.

The config manager needs to talk to the TALC card,
preferably via a network port. If your setup can
handle this requirement you're golden. I dont have
an electronic copy of the manual I can send. You
probably can get one from Telstrat- they're good
folks to deal with. They may want you to request
it through you vendor, though.
Once you open the config manager and log into the
appropriate card the options pop up and are pretty
self-explanatory.
