Hi,

I am using BE 9.1 installed on win200 sp4 and done a full backup of remote win2003,when I try to create a bootable CD
I am getting the popup window saying:

"The OS seen on the CD doesb't match \\MOHDY"

Mohdy is my BE Media Server

What does this mean?
Does this mean I can't do IDR to win2003
machines if my Media server installed on win2000?

Thanks in advanced

Are you selecting the 2003 server on the IDR wizard?
There should be list on the left and you have to add it to the right and remove the media server

Thanks for you reply I found that win2000 can only create Recovery media for NT

To create recovery media for remote win2003 you need to have Media server installed on win2003.

Hi,

Just read this post. Can someone verify that this is correct ? We have a situation where we are running version 9.0 and have two Win 2003 servers that we want to create IDR backup CD's for and haven't yet attempted this.

Thanks

Kevin.
