Here is what is so stupid about this website.

Although this is a great place for information. If you step out of line like asking I guess what the webmaster thinks is a stupid question like how do you label telephone sets, you get your user id deleted with a note telling you to contact the site admin. however this god figure never replies. Very responsible.

Now since this lord of the website is a real smart guy he forgets that all a person has to do is log back in under another name again and again and again and again and again and again month after month year after year. No real big problem there are a million user names to choose from. Smart way to run a website.

No wonder other tech websites have a better rep. than this one. I just get on here and suck the life out of everyone and never give anything back all because the webmaster is a "dick"-tator.

So you tell me who is the smart one. Keep you're customers happy and they keep you happy. And this bright boi actually asks for donations! PLeeeeeze!

Does he have tax exempt status??? I wonder???

Now how long do you think this post and my user id will last?

You probably asked about keycodes or passwords which are a no-no on all the tech sites I frequent.

or you asked a question to many times and got red flagged..You may have answered a question in a sarcastic way and gotten red flagged
AT this point the only issues are passwords/keycodes/and soliciting work

Most others are answered with RTFM and are ignored

I feel the admins should always first delete (edit preffered) the offending post and not the entire thread and also ALWAYS give a reason in the post and in email to the member.

Actually this goes for any forum site, there is not much you can do expect ban IP (or range), ban certian emails and user names but there is always a work around.

My feeling is yes keep us happy and if you do you will get my donations.
If the site/admin/moderator refuses to edit or delete with fashion and respect and give reason to the members and also the site does not provide another means to exchange emails and offers etc by way of a PM system or a private/passworded forum then the site will not get a dime from me for donations, I need a little something in return and other forums offer that and that is where my money is going at the moment.


I disagree with what happend with you and the way it was handled by the admins but also disagree of how you handled it starting with the subject line.
Dave may not give us the things we want/NEED but we have something and that deserves a thanks.

So thanks!

Would be nice for the admin to respond to some of the things here and also have a complaint/suggestion/help forum but i do see this being deleted very soon hehe.

Thank you for the respect. Someone treats you in a manner you don't like so you take it out on the very people that you want sympathy from.

This site has some of the highest level of professionalism, experience, reputation, of any of the sites on the web.

Since you don't seem to recognize the skill level of your audience I don't think you would be able to appreciate the answers you get.

Well, it's still here. Although I'm not specifically familiar with what happened to you, it would seem our benevolent moderator does have the maturity to accept your "constructive criticism".

Those of us who do post here are generally technicians who get paid to do this for a living. We ask nothing for our participation here. Specifically, exsmogger, curlycord, and lugerlover (though sometimes a little brash ) have each more than earned my esteem and respect as fellow technicians. They have bent over backwards to help us all, I'm sure, you included.

I hope you overcome your vampiric compulsion.
