Identifying analog lines

Good afternoon All

I'm in the process of decommissioning our Realitis 3000

We have around 120 analog channels patched out around the building & I'm wondering if there is a more efficient way to identify them than plugging in a phone and calling an optipoint phone to check the caller ID?

Is there a variation of the trace command or similar that would show when an analog phone goes off hook that doesn't need to be pointed at a specific extension?
Or any other suggestions?

Thanks
Grant

Is you have access to the console, yes.

LCH A - list of spare analogue channels - any unused will be listed as 'spare' or will have $ next to them indicating uninstalled and therefore ready to use.

Also LEX A E
This will list all extensions and any labels / alerting names, COS (Class of Service) and TAC (Trunk Access Code - Dialling permissions),.

If you don't know the OSL, you may be able to access using the default one based on the header information.

If the system is not connected to the outside and there is no working traffic then you could TRMB A
That will give you constant traces, however it is processing intensive and as I said it should only be done on a system that is not working as a system.
TRMB N will stop the command.

Perfect :)

Yes the system is completely disconnected.
Due to various reasons, Staff churn & te building being shut for a long period over COVID we are trying to document all the lines as they come out to make sure nothing gets lost/goes missing.

One thing though which may be beyond the scope of the question
When I'm running TRMB A I'm seeing a NIM for the various ACD groups configured on the system every couple of seconds.
Like potentially filling my terminal window in the time I've taken the analog line off hook then hung up and stopped the trace.

Is there a way to stop that or do i need to delete the ACD groups?

This shows the analog lines on the system which I already have.
I was looking for a way to identify the line I have plugged in to on the patch panel
Something like when I run TREX against an extension I can see it going on and off hook. but system wide.

It looks like TRMB is the answer :)

OK But it fills up the screen fairly quickly if you do A for all - I forget how to do it for individual equipment.
So don't forget to turn it off ! :)

You can limit it - I've seen it in the iSDX Service Manual - which I've made avaialable for to download if you don't have it already.
If you check out the 'Hicom' FAQ at
you will get access to 'GigaTribe' and there you will see the Service Manual
It's under Shared/iSDX Realitis HiPathDX/
and the file is HiPath DX.zip

Unzip 'HiPath DX'
Open folder
Open 'index.html' with Chrome Browser

Let me know if any issues
When installed just click on search and TRMB
