IDC/HTX permissions problem

Hi

I have a Intranet site set up users can browse it find the the staff phone search is a IDC/HTX combination. This works fine inside the domain. Outside I can login browse around but it asks me to re-authenticate when the IDC file tries to execute, when I type in my login it does not accept it until login fails. I have tried to make the folder the idc is in full control for authenticated users. I can only think the the MDB pointed to by the DSN is trying to create a temp file or something to that effect.

Any help would be appreciated Paul Rewston
