I have a client with a MICS 8 x 32. THe block is pretty messy with old wiring. I know they are not using all station ports. What is the best way to ID the availbale ports at the block where cross wire is existing.

I want to clean it up for future use so Iwill not have to go thru this every time I need a new port.

THanks!

well you have 2 amp cables that come out of a MICS and they go from port 101 to 124 on the 1st amp and 125-132 on the 2nd amp. if your termination blocks are not marked this way you may just want to get into the programming and go under maintenance-port dn status to check for open ports...

Went into Maint. and found just what I needed chich were the two lost ports.

Thanks!
