ICR's to attenant play MOH-want them 2 ring

IPO 4.05-VMPro 4.0.18 - calls route in to vm shortcode to check time/route then go off where they are supposed to. During the day that would be the Reception Group-no queueing on. Callers get MOH and never get ringing. I've tried both Assisted transfer and just plain ol' transfer. Anyone know how I can get these initial calls to ring?

I would assume your using assisted transfers, which will indeed use MOH and not ringing.

If you have no reason to use assisted you can change these to Transfer options.

If you use assited transfer for flagging some thing you may want to wait a short while. Soon we should be able to flag information in the transfer option in releases coming soon!!

There must be something more to your VM Config to be honest.

As above would be good to see a screen shot or similar of your VM setup.

ronromano: how do I post an image up here? My flow goes like this:
ICR routes to *87 Attendant VMNode

VMP Short code
Attendant: Check HolidaySched, False, Check Night, False, Transfer specific 299 (Reception Group).

If I just dial 299 it is happy and works as planned, however when I call the tel no and route thru the ICR, it sends me directly to MOH.

Provider:
I've tried both Assisted transfer and just plain ol' transfer. VMP doesn't care, it plays the MOH either way.

JG, your posts normally seem pretty switched on. So if I sound like im stating the obvious I do apologise.

How busy are the call flows, when you make the change have you tried rebooting the vmpro services before testing??

As for attaching do a screen shot, paste into some thing like word. Host the file on a hosting like the one below on the right of the Step 3. Put the link in. Jobbo done. :)

Im wondering if there is something slightly a miss in VMPro,
Obviouisly by dialling 299 this is hitting the IPO directly and not routing through VMPro pretty much missing out all your VMPro programming.
It may be worth interacting the VMPro service with the desktop, clicking on run and copying and pasting a call example. This will tell me alot.

Grrr....You know, some days I really hate how fluky this system is. I did the interact w desktop & it started working. Put it back the way it was and it's working just freaking fine! I just don't get it. I had previously restared the services when I created the flow, but I guess it didn't take...Is it Friday yet?
