Does anyone know where I can get an open source (i.e. GPL or CC, not royalty free) icon set that contains numeric symbols? I need the numbers 1 - 5, preferably with a white backgound.

Why not just create your own with any paint package? That way you get:

- The exact size you want,
- The exact colours you want,
- The exact font you want,
- No royalty issues.

Hope this helps,
Dan

Fair point, but;

1. I'm a terrible artist. I'd love to have icons that look professional like the ones that you see at sites like this:
2. I only have MS Paint on my desktop, my employers won't fork out for a package like Fireworks or PaintShopPro.

3. So install the GIMP or something, I hear you cry. Three words: Corporate. IT. Policy.

4. Did I mention I'm a terrible artist?

Thanks for the help, though.

So install some art package on your home machine, make them at home, and jump drive them in?

Even a "terrible artist" can probably do numbers on a white background...

Billy Ray's post is deserving of a star methinks....

Very nice.
