I'm using 2K server w/ MetaFrame 1.8, user profiles are stored on the server. Terminal server profiles are the same as the user profiles in the user properties. I can log into the server with ICA for remote admin or user apps, I'm also able to Shadow users connected to the server desktop or apps running on the server.

My problem is "How do I veiw (shadow) the desktops of users working on their local machines.
Is this a simple setting that I'm leaving out for the client and or server.

I'm pretty new to Citrix only been using it for 2 weeks in a lab with an eval copy. Any help and or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If I understand your question correctly, then the answer is you CANNOT shadow the users client machine. You can only shadow the session they have to the Citrix Server. Dave Namou, MCSE CCEA

To "shadow" user's fat desktops, you could use WinVNC-freeware from AT&T Labs in the UK.

VNC works well, you could also use Novells Remote MAnagement if you are on a Novell Network. Mike Brown CCA

thanks that cleared up a misunderstanding that I had.
