we have a few IBM Netvista servers that I want to monitor with CIM SP2. I was wondering, besides configuring the SNMP settings to respond to my CIM box, what else would I have to do? Thanks in advance...

Import the MIBs from IBM for their servers. These are available from IBM.

Would I have to install the agents locally on the IBM servers as well?

I have dell servers that I want to monitor. I imported the mibs, but I can only see NIC information from the snmp device option. What steps could I be missing?

I was looking for IBM MIB's to get more than basic connectivity polling and was informed of the following.

"You'll only ever get up/down status polling from the IBM servers. The sole function of the MIBs is to translate traps originated by the IBM agent, and has no effect on status polling."
