Given is following config:

2 x 36.4 GB, configured as RAID 1 with 2 logical drives (8 and 24 GB), copy back enabled. 1 Harddrived crashed, and after replacment rebuild ok. Everything fine so far. After a few hours first phonecalls came in, concerning about lost diskdrive. The installed Windows lost it's drive D: (c: everything ok). Unable to initialize or 'recreate' disk in diskmanager.

Has had anybody the same problem?

did you setup your raid in what sounds Windows or did you setup a hardware RAID through IBM ServRAID Manager?

setup through IBM ServRAID Manager CD, created to logical drives

I have a pair of IBM 360s unde MS Windows with shared EXP300 and 3 pairs of 36 GB in RAID10 config (3 pairs of RAID1). Whenever failing over the cluster from one node to another it takes about 1 hour per pair to "synchronize" disks. I can see in the IBM ServeRAID GUI that "synchronization" is going on. While this is happening the performance of cluster is so bad that system is practically useless. Why is ServRAID synchronizing RAID1 disks when there is no disk failure nore node failure? Any way to disable this?
