IBM ServeRAID Configuration Error

Greetings:

I am configuring a Netfinity 5000 server with five SCSI drives. I am getting the error 740CH. I have separately tested the card, the cable, the backplane and each of the drives. The correct code "000h" is displayed when 'resetting the factory defaults". It is only when I copy the configuration that I get the error code. Any guidance in the solution of this problem would be appreciated greatly.
