Hi, hope someone can help. (All equipment described is IBM)
We have a SAN and Win2K cluster that has been running fine with two logical drives for about a year. We decided to allocate some spare space to a new logical drive, this all seemed to go fine with fail over tests working and has now in place about a week.
We then added 3 new disks using Raid 5 and created another logical drive.
When we bring the first server of the cluster up it can see the drive and the drive is viewable through Windows Explorer. When the 2nd server in the cluster is brought up it does not see the drive. If the master server then fails the 2nd still does not see the drive. This is the case no matter which server is brought online first.
Interestingly this also seemed to affect the earlier created logical drive intermittently but NOT the two original ones created.
Any ideas ?
