I wonder what DEBIAN or SUSE I should download, if I shall try to install it on my server? Thera are some to choose from as you know, for example i386 x86 PPC AMD SPARC....

but the main thing you seem to be missing is that "for example i386 x86 PPC AMD SPARC...." represents differant types of CPU's. The 7043-43p-240 is a PowerPC CPU. This should help too...go to
