Hi,

Does anybody have experience with IBM Power275 platform reliability issues ?

Thanks

I have 20 275's that I have just recently installed (CAD/CAM workstations). All running AIX 5.1 ML05. Very happy with them and have not had problems with them. Personally I like them better than the last batch of p630 workstations that I installed last spring.

Hello Levw,

this was the first batch of IBM computers where no machine had a new defect part. They are much quieter and lighter then the p630 and my user are telling me they are fast like hell.
For good performance you have to install at least AIX5.1-ML05.

Best regards
Stefan
