Hi There,

Does the device appear when the PC does it's power on routine.?

If the PC knows it's there but can't boot an O/S
ensure there is an active partition that can be "seen".

Is the partition formatted and installed with an operating system.

Do you get to see the hard drive if you boot from floppy.

Does anything show in the Bios?

Are the Boot device order options set correctly?

Is the device on an IDE channel of its own?
If with another device e.g. cd try it on its own.

Hope these pointers help you along.

thank you
for answering
i have fix the error
thanks a lot!!!!
