We have Domino and Tivoli installed in our environment and are licensed for those apps. We want to ensure we are licensed for all IBM apps we have installed. I have pulled a list of software from SMS that appears in the add/remove program list and I realize alot of the titles are pieces that are part of the larger app but I am hoping someone can look at the list and tell me which ones I need a license for, thanks

Joe:

This largely depends on the type of licensing you have with Lotus. As an example, some Lotus and Tivoli licenses will cover DB2; some require a separate license for such.

There is also the factor of what licenses come with the hardware. Portions of Tivoli / Director software come with IBM eServers; other HW vendors would not count.

In short: not an easy answer, and not enough data. This may be a more complex problem than would be possible to address here without giving up a lot of infrastructure information you may not want to post.

HTH.
