Iber running for 5-10 seconds then stopping, closing

I'm noticing that the iber for one of my client's is not staying up. It runs for about 5-10 seconds and then stops and closes. I could not identify multiple ibers running, nor did I see iber trying to run multiple times (ie. iber running and another instance opens up). Here is the complete debout for the iber:

The first part of the debout sets the number of terminals at 10 but the end of the debout suggests that there are 12. How many terminals do you have defined in aloha manager and how many does your license allow?

There are 10 terminals at present. Terms 1-10. Term 11 is not an order entry, and 12 and 13 are for their online ordering to use, so it's like a virtual server/interface. This is typical for us with client using Aloha 6.2 or higher. Although, I've never encountered this before. From my experience, if the client doesn't have the license for another terminal, a box appears in Aloha manager when I try to create a new terminal. This wasn't the case with 12 and 13.

Are all terminals doing this or just one? I would either delete or repair the trans.log file and try that. After looking at one of my debouts, it seems that the next step it to read the trans.log file and that's where your problem begins.

The only terminal doing this is terminal 12. I'll try first repairing the log file, then I'll delete it if the problem persist. Either way, I'll post results.

So I tried deleting the trans.log and running iber but no luck. It runs for a couple of seconds and then stops. I did notice the following in the DEBRFS.20090609.12 log:

You are running 6.2.17. Since you have more than 10 terminals, can I assume all of the terminals are running XP?
Are you running Windows Server 2003 on the Aloha Server? Can I also assume you are running RFSSVR for the network?

Can you turn off one of the lower number terminals and will term12 load? If yes, then this is a network issue. Remember Aloha reads Microsoft Windows permissions. That means when using XP, it only has 10 concurrent connections. More than 10 connections (the Aloha server counts as 2) can cause this.

I also see in the debout and issue reading the .SCH schedule file. If you are NOT using Aloha Manager Scheduler, then this file can be deleted if it exists on the server.

-I haven't tried this yet, but I have tried running the terminal 12 in the morning when the location is not open (I'm assuming that no other terminal running at this point, but I'm not sure).

Just out of curiousity, even if this location has the license for more terminals, if they do go over the 10 terminal limit, is there an additional license they then need to get to have 10+ terminals? I didn't know about this limit, although I do recall seeing locations have more than 10 (although I'm sure they didn't all use windows xp).
