Hi everyone!
I have S8300 with CM3 and Audix IA770.
Suddenly, yesterday, Audix just stopped. Now its not working. When I go to System Configuration and Status/System Status, I get this message

I’ve rebooted whole system, and it didn’t help!

What should I do?!

maybe you changed anything impact QISG between ia770 to S8300.

Check the patch level and look in PCN 569U for the IA770 as there was a rollover scheduled and the patch sorted it the latest is RF+K but has instructions but must be used with RF+A.
Go to this and follow instructions

Another option is to go in via telnet and stop the messaging as I have had this before and it needss to be stopped in Unix then restarted.

How can I do that without root password?

If you don't have the root password you may have to get Avaya to do it for you although if it is not default I can't see them getting in either. Sorry

Am I stopping the whole system or just Audix with command "stop -ac" ?

Stopping the messaging system and the telephone system, it is only a short time out though about ten minutes once you have started it again.

how to install new patch??

After downloading patch you should save it on S8xx, after that you should go to Messaging Administration
Utilities
Software Management
Software Installation
and then apply a patch.

I couldn't manage to solve the problem with stopping system, neither applying patch!

I'll try to reinstall whole messaging software.
