IA770 problems

I'm having a problem with an IA770 that was installed a few months ago (CM 2.2.
The voicemail stopped answering calls, so I stopped and restarted the messaging software and now I can't get into the system administration screen and a UNIX Major alarm is being displayed:

Any ideas???
 
have you tried to disable messaging and enable it. I have a VoiP alarm on the board and had to do this to get it working
 
If we're talking about the same Mick, then I'm his customer in a round about sort of way.
Looks like the problem is resolved now and a patch is being applied to the switch.
So anyone else that has this problem contact your business partner as they will need to dial in with root permissions to resolve the problem and then apply a patch.

I had the same trouble, I called Avaya Maintenance and they installed a patch for me, didn't give me any details but it was 20 minutes downtime and no complaints since...
