We have just installed a S8300/G350 with IA770. On the extension forms we have th voicemail number 8500~P# buttons configured with a ~p# so that there is a small pause and then the # gets entered automatically, so the user does not have to enter their extension, just their password. This has always worked perfectly in our older CM 4 and below installs. The issue is in this CM 5.1 installation the audix greeting comes up and says "Welcome to audix please enter your ext.... please enter your password followed by pound sign" so there is too long a pause before it automatically enters the # to override the enter extension message. As you can imagine this sounds like it is broken to the user. I have tried removing the ~p which then stops the # symbol from being any use as it gets entered too quickly. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

sounds like you have a non-integrated setup, check you "public unknown" or "private" numbering, make sure the extension range for the DIDs is listed as "4" digits, and being sent to the IA770 hunt group

Try ~P~P# [Each ~P is an approx. 3 sec wait per insertion]You may be experiencing a response delay, for some reason, from the 770
