Just set up a Integrated messaging (IA770) over a S8300 (5.2.1), the messaging feature runs, but every call has been covered by the Messaging HG receives the following message:

Extesion 0000 please wait
Transfer cannot be completed, try again later.

What did I miss ?

I beleive you may have to place a greeting on the mailbox or Attendant first.

I found this in another post by Mitch:

2 things to check:

Did you setup the private numbering? "change private 0", and set it up to send the IA770 trunk group the 4 digits of your extensions? This can also be done in the "change public 0", and have an entry in that table as well, you would send the 4 digits to the IA770 trunk group. This is all covered in the IA770 installation guide(s).

Also, on the station forms, you need to set "MWI Served User Type:" to "qsig-mwi" for the MWI lamps to light with the IA770

CM 5.0 IA770 guide:

CM 4.0 IA770 guide:

FYI, there are also many Cornerstone (C) and Audix (A) patches to apply, for the different releases of the IA770, they have had many bugs / fixes.

Check your public or private numbering tables (depending upon what you have in the trunk group for IA770) and make sure that your extension range(s) is set up with the IA770 trunk group.

Thank you, you both were right:
the issue was in the private numbering table, that I miss because a not correct indication on the 5.1 installation guide which refers to the public table, despite using AAR as a private trunk:

On 5.2.1 they changed part of IA770 features, just as an example all the Java applet parts are missed.

Now is correctly running, but I would ask 3 more question:

1) How to setup the User destination for outcalling ?

2) Is it absolutely mandatory to Record the user name ?

3) No way to get access to your own mailbox without specify your own user number but only by dialling the correct pwd ?

tks
