Is there an i2050 version compatible with windows 7?

I tried to install an older version (1.4.0 build 385) which is all I could find, but I am receiving an error

IT network manager::_dhcpParamdiscovery::GetMACAddress():Unable to discover your NIC address.

Thanks.

I was able to download a 30day trial version of version 3 from the Avaya site and was able to install it successfully and it is working. I'm going to try and find version 2 so that I don't have to get the license server.

Thanks.

Hello,

Version 4.04.066 should work on w7V 32 AND 64 BIT VERSIONS

Fritz

I've been using i2050 V2 build 260 (version 2.01 0260) on my 64-bit Windows 7 without any problems.

I have been using IP Softphone 2050 2.01.0260 on Windows 7 32-Bit with no problems for 3 months.

Does anyone know where I can Download IP Softphone 2050 2.01.0260 I've consulted my friend google but no luck finding it

Yes I have it for you if you want to send me your email - I already sent it to a friend in Pakistan via Google drive :)

Yeah - I am sure the i2050 software works fine (with a few minor glitches).

There could be a problem with the installer. I don't remember any problems when I was installing it (quite some time ago), but MemphisPCGuy reported a problem when he was trying to install it - see this thread:
He eventually resolved the problem in the following way:
MemphisPCGuy: "Nevermind, I got it to work. I copied the Nortel IP Softphone 2050.msi from temp and set compatibility mode to skip version check."

First make sure that you run the installer as the administrator. If that does not help, you could try to use the MSI directly and disable the version ckecking (as suggested by MemphisPCGuy).

Can you repost the V2 software on dropbox. the link is no longer available and I am trying to find it. V3 trial is about to end. Thanks

Word of warning to those who are posting/downloading v2.

Under the terms of the licence agreement for that software, you must have purchased a CD for each instance which is installed on a PC. By installing a copy of the software without having that CD, you are technically in violation of the licence agreement.
