Trying to configure the Microsoft TAPI H323 service so that I may click "Call Contact" from within Microsoft Outlook using the I2050 softphone... So far only errors received ("internal error occurred, close the dial dialog box and try again).. Has anyone been successful with this?

I'm having the same issue. When I go into Dialing Options and try to select the I2050 as the TAPI device it's not listed.

The newest or latest version of i2050 don't support or install tapi device for use within f.ex outlook. You have to install the old version in order to make it work. Nortel will not install this feature in future softphone releases either since they have a collaboration with microsoft in other ways i.e live communication server...
