i2007 and firmware upgrade

I have a 1000B with 1120's and 1140's registering
to 1000M 4.5 working great.

The boss obtained an i2007
and of course want's it hooked up. No
problem I say ... well ....problem.
Phone won't come up. just reboots over and over..

I assigned it as an 1140.. set vlan to yes.
plugged it in and noticed the firmware didn't match.
Went into element mgr downloaded the firm ware
to my PC then up load to the Sig Serv and distributed.
I must have done something wrong ...the set obtains an ip but won't register.

Have you distribute the firmware on both sigserver (Main and Branch Office?

No , Just the local sig server.
Do I need to put it on the main also ?
When the i2007 attempts to upgrade f/w
It's attempting to pull it from the local 1000B ss.

Yes, the firmware must be the same on branch office and main office site. Otherwise the set upgrade the firmware on the branch office site and after register on the main office it
will downgrate the firmware....

I checked the main , it has c26 also.
I decided to try another f/w c6p..
Pushed it out to the local ss and the i2007 came up...
go figure !

There is actually a C6R available for 2007. It includes a "slideshow" feature where up to ten images can be loaded into the phone which are then displayed when the phone is idle.
