I have a couple of BCMs using i2004s that have had their services key reprogrammed as vm transfer. I need to relable a couple of autodial buttons with name changes but am unable to as I no longer have a services button.

Is there a way to bring the services key back? I cannot find anything in the manuals. Thanks.

all you need to reproram a button is go to the set. Press feature*1 for external auto dial, F*2 for internall auto dial, and feature *3 for feature auto dial. You don't need the service key.

Feature *900 is the services feature.

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

Just had the user try using feature *900 and they had a list of features come up but no Telephone Option Menu. Is there something else that needs to be set up first?

Read endlesswinter's response. That is how you program autodials. If you are trying to put autodial keys on a line or intercom button it is not going to work as you cannot program over those buttons. Same goes for Answer Dns and Hunt Group buttons.

Had to reset the phone in order for the label to change.

I was mistakingly trying to change the key label not the adl number itself (the extension was assigned to a new employee). You can do this on the PBX but not on the BCM. That is why *900 or the services key did not show phone options or the subheadding key label.

Thank you everyone for your help.
