I would like to import Paradox tables into my A97 database. However, the "file types" dropdown on the import screen does not list Paradox (although my system at work shows Paradox). How can I update this list to include Paradox?

Thank you,

Gerry Goldberg

Not all database types are installed by default. To add new db types run the Setup program for your version of Access. This information is located at the bottom of the import or link dialog box just below the "files of type" pull-down box.

It't been a while since I used Paradox but doesn't paradox have an export feature? If so, export it out in text format and then import it into Access with the text format.

If you work at a place I use to, sometimes getting the necessary disk to do this from your tech dept. takes longer than using a "short cut" Scott Musich
