I am being asked to develop a training guide. I found a PDF document that has a lot of information, that I would like to use in my training guide. Can anyone help and tell me how to convert a PDF to Doc

No can do. You can recapature the context via copy paste but all the formatting, color and images are lost. You will need Acrobat Exchange to capture the text... or just use an OCR scanner. Alas it is bad.

I am trying to embed a PDF File into Crystal Reports 8.0/ MS Word as an OLE Object
but all I can see is the icon.
How do I get around this to show the Contents and not just the icon. Is it possible?
any help is appreciated.
Thank you

You can use xpdf to convert the pdf to a text file then take the parts you want into a doc file

You can, with Acrobat Exchange, using the "Graphic Select Tool" select part or all of a page & copy to the clipboard.
This can then be pasted into Word, or elsewhere, as a graphic object & resized to suit.
This works ok for including PDF reports, etc. but is obviously not editable.
NB. Before copying change the screen resolution to the highest suppported by the monitor & maximise Acrobat.
